Celestia TTI and Celestia TST have obtained the FIWARE-Ready certification

Huelva, September 1st. Celestia TTI and Celestia TST have obtained the FIWARE-Ready Certification for their solutions SirocoPORTS IoT DataHub-Bridge and TScounTer. This recognition represents a new step in the evolution of two technological solutions that have found in the Port of Huelva and La Lonja de la Innovación ecosystem different ways to test, advance and adapt to the port environment.
The collaboration between Celestia TTI, Celestia TST and the Port of Huelva: success story
The relationship began when both companies received funding from the Ports 4.0 fund after asking for the support of the Port of Huelva as a facilitator port. This synergy allowed the Cantabrian companies to test their solution SirocoPorts4.0 in the Port of Huelva, checking the effectiveness and precision of their technology in real port operating conditions.
Since this initial collaboration, the relationship between Celestia TTI and Celestia TST and La Lonja continued through new lines of work. Before joining the acceleration program, both companies received training, mentoring and specialized technical support to advance in the interoperability of their solutions and progress toward the FIWARE-Ready certification.
More recently, Celestia TTI and Celestia TST have joined La Lonja de la Innovación’s acceleration program, expanding their link with the ecosystem and accessing new support services and business and technical development. In addition, their solution is part of La Lonja’s Showroom.
“Thanks to La Lonja de la Innovación support, we have been able to reinforce the adaptation of our solutions to the port ecosystem. The FIWARE-Ready certification confirms one of the main objectives of SirocoPORTS4.0: to make it easier for each port to install the sensors it needs and connect their data through platforms compatible with FIWARE through an open and interoperable architecture”, explains Susana Ruiz, from Celestia TTI.
The certified solutions
Celestia TTI and Celestia TST, Spanish subsidiaries of the European technology group Celestia, have jointly developed the two certified solutions as part of the SirocoPORTS4.0 project.
TScounTer is a sensor that measures footfall and occupancy of people in different areas of the port anonymously. On the other hand, SirocoPORTS IoT DataHub-Bridge is the component that connects sensors measuring air and water quality, meteorological conditions, presence, security, and maritime traffic, translating all the information into a common format compatible with FIWARE.
With these new certifications, Celestia TTI and Celestia TST join other companies such as Surcontrol, Novality, Gabitel, Dinycon, Signify, and Solum, which have also progressed toward FIWARE-Ready certification with training, mentoring, and specialized support from La Lonja de la Innovación.
