The startup Desarrollo Circular joins La Lonja de la Innovación

On January 22nd, we announced the opening of a new startup acceleration call that will remain open throughout the year. It was in this call where the startup Desarrollo Circular, specialized in environmental consultancy, joined our acceleration program to boost its project.
Desarrollo Circular was born with the purpose of facilitating the Port of Huelva and its auxiliary companies in quantifying the carbon dioxide they emit. This is done through a technological tool based on artificial intelligence. With this, it aims to provide a solution to the need for public entities and large corporations to face legal requirements in environmental matters, whether national or international. The startup has developed an application with which it aims to quickly and exhaustively collect all the necessary data for this quantification, improving accessibility to them.
The company helps businesses to be more sustainable through environmental consultancies, in which they identify the needs of each business to develop a personalized action plan; they design strategies adapted to the real needs of each company after having collected the necessary information and manage the implementation of environmental plans; furthermore, they perform an analysis of them to know the progress achieved.
Desarrollo Circular offers various services to improve the environmental commitment of companies such as, for example, the calculation of the carbon and water footprint; environmental training; life cycle analysis and sustainability plans, among other services.
The acceleration program
With its incorporation into La Lonja de la Innovación, Desarrollo Circular will begin to work, for 4+4 months, with the possibility of extension, with our personalized methodology, supported by a wide team of mentors composed of entrepreneurs and experts in various areas of importance in the world of entrepreneurship who will advise them through sessions adapted to their needs.
In addition to the support and advice from experts, they will have a physical space within the Port of Huelva, which they will share with the rest of the startups and entrepreneurs who have joined La Lonja de la Innovación, favoring learning among them and the formation of synergies; networking; commercial contactability; training; access to public and private financing; network of contacts; visibility in media and events and piloting of their solution.
Furthermore, at La Lonja we have been recognized as the first port FIWARE iHub worldwide, which means we facilitate startups' access to the FIWARE community, in addition to offering personalized technical support to integrate the solution proposed in FIWARE and even to obtain FIWARE certifications.
