Fernando is a consultant and manager of I+D+i projects, he has carried out projects like the Technological Cluster of the province of Huelva, participating and working with entrepreneurs and startups in Huelva. In addition, he manages all kinds of grants and gives talks on Technology Watch and alternative financing to banking, everything that involves promoting innovation. Fernando is a technologist and has worked in the Science and Technology Park of Huelva, as well as a RETA (Red de Espacios Tecnológicos de Andalucía) technician, in the Technological Center of El Calzado (CITVAL).
How did he get here? Our mentor in Digital Transformation, Innovation, I+D+i, Technology Watch, Circular Economy and ODS has a degree in Economics and Business Sciences, a master’s degree in I+D+i management and a master’s degree in Cooperatives Management. Quite an expert!
Fernando lives in El Rompido (Huelva), a fishing village that has made him, ever since he was a child, to have a deep connection to the sea, either fishing or as a boat skipper.
He considers that La Lonja’s initiative is a fundamental space to innovation, as Huelva was lacking in this area. Moreover, he considers that the support of Telefónica Open Future brings a lot to this space and to the entrepreneurs’ projects, where the FIWARE technology is decisive for the projects. The Port of Huelva is a great tractor for the province, and both entities complement each other in order to achieve its socioeconomic development. At the same time, it is quite important that this port is a pioneer in the portuary sector in the use of FIWARE technology.
Fernando knows perfectly many entities in the province of Huelva, public and private, where he has developed his career and good work. We have no doubts that with his people skills, his ability to listen and empathy he will make the projects in La Lonja de la Innovación grow rapidly.
