As 2025 comes to a close, so does a year of growth and consolidation at La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n. We celebrated our third anniversary<\/a> and achieved milestones that reinforce our value proposition and impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem. We have continued to grow and evolve, reflected in the launch of our new website<\/a>: clearer, more agile and aligned with our values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All that has been achieved would not have been possible without the team that accompanies us, our mentors<\/a> and all the <\/a>companies in the La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n ecosystem<\/a>. But what happened in 2025 at La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n? We review our year and everything it has meant to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecosystem growth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our third year of activity has been accompanied by great moments to celebrate. On the one hand, we continue to grow by incorporating 12 new companies<\/strong> of great level into our ecosystem through our permanent call. This year we have welcomed Panssari<\/a>, EONsea<\/a>, Green Bunkers<\/a>, Radmas Technologies SL<\/a>, SURCONTROL<\/a>, Kyvrox<\/a>, Iberbox<\/a>, DulfiTech<\/a>, Kimun Tech<\/a>, HamsaID<\/a>, Blocknitive<\/a> and BIODRAGON TECH<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of them were also protagonists of the latest edition of our <\/a>Demo Day & Meet the Investors<\/a>, which has once again been a success in attendance, turning La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n into the setting for a meeting full of collaboration, innovation and networking. Furthermore, a dinner with investors was held on the occasion of this event, where we were joined by the President of the Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva, Alberto Santana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this growth has not only been seen in the arrival of new companies, but also in our team. During 2025, great experts from the region have joined as La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n mentors<\/a>, such as Antonio Jes\u00fas<\/a>, legal mentor; Teresa Su\u00e1rez<\/a>, digital marketing mentor, and David Barroso<\/a>, hardware mentor, adding up to 21 professionals to our network of mentors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Lonja, FIWARE iHub Premium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, if last year we announced the achievement of our second FIWARE star, in 2025 we have gone one step further by obtaining the third and final star. This recognition, received by Roc\u00edo D\u00edaz, director of La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n, at the FIWARE Global Summit in Rabat, positions us in the global technological elite, making us one of only two FIWARE iHubs in the world<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this new title, we have continued on our path to promote FIWARE technology. For example, we accompanied Gabitel in its goal to obtain FIWARE certification<\/a>, thus becoming the first company in Huelva to achieve it. With them, there are now 6 companies with certified solutions with our help, adding to the certified solutions of Signify, Solum<\/a>, Dinycon<\/a>, Novality <\/a>and Solum<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, our facilitator and FIWARE Expert, Lisandra Tamayo, has delivered 28 FIWARE training courses <\/strong>(13 basic, 11 advanced, 2 expert level, and 2 IoT workshops) on this technology throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A year full of activity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2025 has been full of events and activities at La Lonja's facilities. Not only have we had FIWARE training, but also practical workshops we have organized to help entrepreneurs, such as Artificial Intelligence: Innovation in Action<\/a> or Negotiate What You Deserve: Strategies to Influence Naturally<\/a>, among many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n has also been the perfect setting to host other external events, such as the first cross-border Spanish-Portuguese event held by NEXOMAR Open Innovation at La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n<\/a> or Impulso&Crece at La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n<\/a>. Furthermore, the Puerto de Huelva, in collaboration with La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n, held the second edition of the ideas contest aimed at the staff of the Port of Huelva<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In line with our goal of advising entrepreneurs on how to grow their businesses, this has also been a year in which we have acted as a facilitator for 30 companies<\/strong> in their quest to obtain Ports 4.0 pre-commercial project grants<\/a>. The Puerto de Huelva is the only port in Spain that has facilitated this access for such a large number of companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por ejemplo, Panssari obtuvo una ayuda NEOTEC de 325.000 euros<\/a>, ayuda que tambi\u00e9n recibi\u00f3 EONsea<\/a>. Por otro lado, Green Bunkers arranc\u00f3 con 5M\u20ac de inversi\u00f3n para transformar el mercado global del bunkering<\/a>; Nexterra obtuvo la subvenci\u00f3n de Puertos del Estado<\/a> y Surcontrol, ha sido seleccionada para resolver un desaf\u00edo real del Puerto de Huelva desde La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This growth is also seen in the companies in our ecosystem. 2025 has also been a year full of milestones for many of them, which we celebrate as if they were our own. For example, <\/a>Panssari obtained a NEOTEC grant of 325,000 euros<\/a>, a grant that EONsea also received<\/a>. Furthermore, <\/a>Green Bunkers started with a \u20ac5M investment to transform the global bunkering market<\/a>; Nexterra obtained the Ports of the State subsidy<\/a> and <\/a>Surcontrol has been selected to solve a real challenge of the Port of Huelva from La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has also been a year in which we have crossed borders, both national and international, with our presence at various events. Among the most outstanding meetings, Roc\u00edo D\u00edaz, director of La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n, was in Morocco during the FIWARE Global Summit; she also participated in the Port Automation Summit 2025 held in Singapore<\/a>; and at the WIN-BIG Mediterranean Event, in Rome<\/a>, where she was recognized as one of the 10 most inspirational women in the blue economy along with Camila Rodrigues from EONsea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout this year, the presence of the companies from La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n at various national events has been key to boosting their visibility and generating business opportunities. This 2025 balance sheet reflects a great year for La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n, but our greatest achievement lies in the growth of our ecosystem. We now look towards 2026 with enthusiasm and a renewed commitment to continue being the epicenter of innovation.
