It focuses on offering specialized Chitosan-based solutions for sustainable agriculture, demonstrating its potential to strengthen crops and reducing the impact of fungi, viruses and bacteria on both plants and soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, following a rigorous selection process, in which the Port of Huelva played a facilitating role, the viability, social impact, and technological component of the initiative have been evaluated, resulting in the grant awarded by Puertos del Estado. This recognition translates into the development of two high-value-added projects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Freshlock<\/strong>. An odor-neutralizing spray specifically designed for fish and fresh products. Thanks to its advanced formula, Freshlock eliminates unwanted odors and extends the product\u2019s shelf life, offering an effective solution for preservation and quality in the food supply chain.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Pyrolina<\/strong>. This innovative fire-extinguishing lance sprays a fully biodegradable fire-retardant gel that not only puts out flames but also protects surfaces from fire. Pyrolina is designed for high-risk environments, making it an essential safety tool for port infrastructures and other critical sectors.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis grant represents a milestone for Nexterra,\u201d says Chio Diez, COO of the company. \u201cIt allows us to continue investing in innovation and sustainability, and we are confident that Freshlock and Pyrolina will be game-changers in their respective sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The grant received by Nexterra is part of the Idea Program from the Ports 4.0 Fund.
