We continue with the interviews to the startups accelerated in La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n. Who today sits down with us to talk about his experience and project is Gabriel Ferr\u00fas, managing director of SEAPort Solutions, a startup that offers a technological solution for the optimization of port operations based on the automatic exchange of information in real time between the stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This startup has a strong commitment to the application of standards recognized by the industry to facilitate the scalability of solutions and allow the reusability of the developments of the different stakeholders of the sector with presence in different ports and operating globally. Gabriel Ferr\u00fas explained to us that in his project they seek that \u201cthe ports and agents involved have a common semantic which allows them to measure and analyze processes in similar ways, so that they can compare their performance and stimulate the implementation of measures to improve efficiency\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This company specifically provides services for the port sect, so one of the motivations that pushed them to join La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n ecosystem is that this an initiative, promoted by the Port Authority of Huelva, seeks solutions to the challenges it faces. But this wasn\u2019t the only thing that moved them to join La Lonja, Gabriel Ferr\u00fas affirms that it was also the promotion and support to the projects that carry out their developments with FIWARE technology, as is the case of SEAPort Solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gabriel Ferr\u00fas, who is facing his first experience as a startup manager, is eager and energetic to face the challenges that lie ahead of them. To do so, he has the help of La Lonja and our acceleration program, which he affirms \u201cis being a very positive experience thanks to the excellent team of specialized mentors and consultants\u201d. In fact, he adds that thanks to La Lonja and its network of contacts they were able to strengthen their team with a CTO profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is not only the mentors who provide a good experience in La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n, but the rest of startups as well. Gabriel describes his relationship with the rest of the projects that are being accelerated as very enriching, because in each session they share they can learn from each other's experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite being the first experience as an entrepreneur, Gabriel Ferr\u00fas highlights the results they have obtained in the first two years since its launch and their ambition is that \u201ca greater number of ports choose us to test and check in-situ the benefits of digitalization for the optimization of the processes of ship calls in port\u201d. Something that from La Lonja de la Innovaci\u00f3n we know they will achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
