La Lonja de la Innovación hosts an informative session about CDTI and Andalucía TRADE funds

Huelva, February 18th, 2026 - Yesterday, February 17th, La Lonja de la Innovación, a space promoted by the Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva with the support of Telefónica, organized an informative session with the Centre of Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) and Andalucía TRADE, based in Huelva.
The session was focused on the public financing lines that both entities will make available to the innovative sector during 2026. The meeting was primarily aimed at startups, innovative SMEs, and entrepreneurs who are developing technological projects, R&D&I initiatives or innovation-based growth plans, and who want to know first-hand what public instruments can support their development.
The main objective of the event was to present in a practical and clear way the financing tools available during 2026, helping attendees to identify which instruments best suit their projects, understand the requirements and resolve doubts to prepare future applications.
The event schedule
The institutional welcome featured high-level personalities, including Alberto Santana, President of the Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva; Lucía Núñez, Territorial Delegate for Economy, Finance, European Funds and Industry, Energy and Mines in Huelva; Javier González, Director General of Entrepreneurship of the Regional Ministry of University, Research and Innovation of the Junta de Andalucía; and María José Rico, Deputy Government Delegate in Huelva.
Then, the support opportunities were detailed by two representatives of the different organizations: María Pilar González, representative of the CDTI, the national reference entity for financing business R&D&i projects, presented the available financing lines. On the other hand, Leonor Jiménez, representative of Andalucía TRADE, explained the aid offered by this organization of the Junta de Andalucía that promotes competitiveness and innovation.
The day ended with a question and answer session that allowed the attendees to solve doubts with the representatives of the different entities.
