The companies Signify and Solum have recently obtained the FIWARE-Ready certification after receiving our support and advice. This certification validates that the company has an end-to-end product solution for multiple FIWARE technologies, with the aim of collecting context information and processing it by performing intelligent actions.
Signify, a company dedicated to the Smart Solutions sector through its Interact solution, already integrated the technology into its activity. Thanks to La Lonja, the team was able to receive specialized mentoring on the registration and certification process, as well as specific IoT Workshop sessions to solve the personalized needs of their solution.
Their Interact solution allows remote management of products from multiple manufacturers with a single control system. With its open APIs architecture and the FIWARE standard, it is possible to integrate lighting within external platforms, managing all services from a single panel.
Solum, a manufacturer of solar charging and parking points for electric scooters and bicycles, was part of the FIWARE Tech Program at La Lonja, where their needs were analyzed, they received basic and advanced FIWARE training, regular meetings were held to complete the defined objectives, and the product was validated in the process of finally applying for FIWARE-Ready certification.
Their Helios solution is a sustainable and smart charging station that generates its own energy thanks to the solar paving installed around it. Furthermore, it allows the infrastructure to be installed anywhere in the city, completely independent of the electrical grid.
La Lonja de la Innovación is the world's first port logistics FIWARE iHub. We offer a training plan, as well as personalized mentoring focused on achieving this and other FIWARE certifications. In this way, Signify and Solum, in addition to obtaining the necessary knowledge about FIWARE technology, have been able to receive advice for said certifications, IoT Agent training, and support for the integration of data into the Thinking Cities platform, in this case.
Following our consultation during this process, the FIWARE Foundation conducted an interview with the companies to learn about their solution. Finally, after the presentation, they granted the companies the certification, thus making them FIWARE-Ready solutions.
This not only involves obtaining the validation seal from the FIWARE Foundation but also means that Signify and Solum will appear on the official FIWARE Marketplace page.
In La Lonja de la Innovación, in addition to this service to help obtain FIWARE certifications, we have a specialized program in this technology open to startups and companies, as well as training courses open to all citizens about this technology. We also display these and other solutions in our showroom so that interested users, business owners, or entrepreneurs can visit it.
In addition, the call for our Acceleration Program is now open all year round through our website, available for both those integrating FIWARE technology and those who are not, so that interested startups and companies can develop their activity hand in hand with the initiative.
