Moreover, you can’t start a business without having some basic knowledge. But doing a simple search on Google about books for entrepreneurs, the results will be unmanageable and it is difficult to decide which one to read and which will be more useful. Therefore, to make your task easier, we tell you some of the best ones in this post.

Our favourites readings

  1. The Lean Startup, by Eric Ries. In this book, Eric Ries teaches how to develop a business in the most efficient way possible, spending little money and time. This methodology, widely followed around the world, is based in building, measuring and learning. To do this, Ries advises to launch a prototype with basic functions to be able to validate the idea, what we know as MVP.
  2. Blue Ocean Strategy, by W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne. Another classic among entrepreneurship books, Blue Ocean Strategy advises to stop competing in saturated markets, called red oceans, and to create new markets without competition in which to operate, which they call blue oceans. Throughout this book, its authors provide tools and analytical frameworks for developing new opportunities.
  3. The Art of War, by Sun Tzu. A book that had nothing to do with businesses when it was written, but that today is applied to the entrepreneurial world due to the great teachings that it offers. The Art of War was a manual of war tactics that sought to understand the nature of conflicts and how to build strategies to face them, but these strategies are applicable to entrepreneurship when facing problems and increasing the probabilities of overcoming that conflict.
  4. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen Covey. This is a personal development and leadership book that helps you to know yourself better and to be more productive.
